With Drive #27 we depart from our normal lower picket  width of 1-5/8" to the 3-1/4" width shown below.

 

Drive Gate #27

This gate is Base Price  + 18%

  Almost identical to Drive Gate #16, with the exception of no mortised squares in the upper rail, as well as the lower pickets are wider and more tightly spaced.

  A long wooded drive, sloping up, necessitates  gates opening out toward the street.
 
  View facing the street illustrates the Elite Miracle100 armature motors. An out-swing gate is presented with three options: 
One:    Mount the motors on the outside, exposing them to the street.. 
Two:    Mount the morors on the inside, out of view, and give up approximately 8" per gate for swing clearance. 
Three: Use an SEA in-ground operator that is also the pivot hinge.
