Ordering Process

*For extended fence-lines, our schedule varies. For six or less panels, our scheduling is normally 2-3 weeks out.

Step 1:

Select your Garden Fence style from Gallery 3.  There are a number of overlapping styles, such as #1 and #8, which illustrate various details specific to the site.

Step 2:

Calculate your cost.
1) First check your cost-per-panel by noting the percentage to Base Cost and following the link near the top of every fence page to the  Base Cost Table--then  calculating that percentage to the base cost per panel.

2) Secondly, calculate the number of panels you will need. The method for doing so is described in Step #2 in the Example Fence Layout.

Step 3:

--If you are ordering a gate with your panels, often a typical gate style will be seen with a particular panel style, with links to that gate page.  You may also browse the galleries or ask CPW for a recommendation of best suited for your panel choice.

The CPW 4" bronze ball-bearing hinge are included with your gate sale. in dark bronze (also available in white bronze). Latches and additional hardware can be considered by following the Hardware link a the to of every page.
* Note: The check-out cart is for non-gate patrons. Once you choose a latch, it will be added to your overall statement. (Add 4.5% fee for direct shipping and 8% for tax if in CA)
Default Hardware: gate latches
Optional Hardware
: gate latches

Step 4:

Once you've calculated your order, you should have a total cost by using the Base Cost Table.
--Shipping cost to all 50 states is quoted by contacting CPW. It's not too painfull; CPW ernjoys a whopping discount with UPS Freight.

Step 5:

--You are welcome to contact CPW at this juncture by email or phone to corroborate your costs and resolve any outstanding questions and concerns regarding design, modifications, and CPW's schedule. --You may also at this juncture want to consider quotes for your installation (You can refer your installer to the step-by-step installation PDF)

Step 5:

The Payment Center is linked at the top of every page on the web site. This is simply a convenience to placing your order but if you would prefer to do this by phone, that is fine.  In the Payment Center, enter your billing and shipping information and your costs that have been calculated by you or provided by CPW.  If for some reason there is a slight discrepancy in this figure, CPW will contact you prior to processing an advance of 50% of the total cost.
* If you prefer to pay by check, or money order, your payment can be sent to the address appearing at the bottom of this page.

Step 6:

Usually within 2-3 business days, you will receive an email with a link and log-in to a site set up where you will be asked to review and approve not only your statement, but your drawings.  With your approval, by following the email link, your project is officially scheduled.  If there are any revisions to be made, contact CPW to discuss the changes.  On this site page you will also find a number of useful links that may be of interest and help facilitate your project.

Step 7:

Upon completion, photos are posted on the same site address as your drawings and the final payment is processed.  CPW will send another email linking you again to the same site address and log-in. Prior to shipping, delivery, or pick-up, CPW will contact you by email or phone.

Step 8:

As a simple courtesy, we ask only that you find a little time to take a few photos of your installed gate and send it to us as Hi resolution images attached to an email.  If possible, something of the gate and perhaps a wider frame to include the surrounding aesthetics. If the photo appears on the site, there will be no mention of names or addresses.  If the photo appears in a print magazine, photo credits are captioned.

*  If you would like to discuss your installation procedures or have your installer do so, you are welcome to contact CPW.  There is a pdf Installation Guide that walks through the process step-by-step in an easy-to-understand language written specifically for the layman.  In English and Spanish.

** A great deal of useful information and specifications exist below the Base Cost Table by scrolling down below the actual table, as well as within the Specifications page.
