digital composite titled Autumn Leaves.
Two frames designed specifically for this work. The lower cantilevered
'shoots' reminiscent of Frank Loyd Wright's residential masterpiece, Falling
Water, leading
the eye in the direction of the drifting leaves. While in the upper corner
the epoxy inlay relaxes the geometry and reminds us of the wisful
leaves on an autumn evening.
The
cantilevered maple 'Shoots' joined into the suspended supports. Powder-dyed
an off-hue to contrast the oak.
