3 over 3 grid. Garden Gate #53 offers an arching top rail with a level bottom edge. within the upper pattern, the two vertical dividers allow us to configure for 3 equal grid sizes, both vertically anf horizontally, in much the same manner as the Gate Design #52.

Often there are parameters within the existing architecture that call out the occasional radius, but with the overriding precedent of a Bungalow style geometry. The straight bottom edge of the top rail in Garden Gate #53, encorporates both features.

Garden Gate #53-3

Although this particular Garden Gate in Mill Valley, California is only 42" wide, the Gate needed the added girth of a 2-1/4" thickness against the shear visual muscle of an existing overhead arbor. Although widths over 48" automatically default to the added 2-1/4" thickness, it is not unusual to request the extra girth on gates less than 48" width.
