We make the following modifications on panels wider than 64" and higher than 6’ so nothing is lost on the structural integrity of the unit:
Please call or write for price quotes on these extended panels
1. For heights beyond 6-ft----We add a second horizontal rail in the middle creating two lower sections, controlling the vertical expanse, as shown in #11
2. For widths  beyond 5-ft-----We add a gabled cap (seen as an architectural element) to the top and bottom rails (that is dadoed and assembled onsite) for the lateral rigidity. A larger perspective can be seen in #19.

Panels are shipped unfinished.
Note: All commissions include, upon receipt of advance payment, a posting of statements, drawings, site photos (when applicable) and any data that might simplify communications. Extraneous Notes and Explanations

*An important note regardimng your posts.   Below is a link to an example post setting.  It  will make the difference between a post with an 8-year life and a post with a 30-year life.  When investing in the CPW fencelines, don't allow an improperly set post to be your weakest link.  Insist your installer follow this method for posts that are to be set into the grade.  Other methods, such as above-grade brackets and threaded rod are acceptable as well.

*Our modular Wood Fence Design is a standard 64" in length by 1-1/2-inches thick and range from 36-to-96-inches in height. Panels between 60" and 96" width are provided with top and lower gabled caps to provide needed rigidity (Image below).  Panels beyond 6' height with lower solid panels are often amended to incorporate an extra panel and mid horizontal rail, such as seen in #11. Multiple Wood Fence Panel lengths are configured to equal lengths along any given fenceline dimension, with narrow flanking panels often set to each side of the gates. As an approximate price guide, take the length of your proposed fenceline, translate it into inches and divide it by 69-1/2-inches for the approximate number of panels necessary (This includes a maximum length 5-ft panel and the width of a typical surfaced 6x6 post. For 4x4 posts, divide by 67.5inches).
*Random fence panels are shown with optional Pattern Blocks. Pattern Blocks are small blocks tenoned to the pickets to create a subtle break from the linear repetition.
*You can relate your dimensions by email, over the phone, or fax a plan view sketch showing proposed gate setting and all necessary dimensions. All orders are provided with scaled drawings and elevations upon receipt of payment, confirming specifications while providing an opportunity for requested revisions before work begins. All orders are accompanied with a detailed installation procedure. (Fax: 815-328-2851)
*Decorative Pattern Panels: Here we have offered a few interesting patterns to consider as 1) stand-alone garden dividers
2) mounted to sidewalls such as masonry walls or the house/garage walls, and 3) as a fenceline itself. The Plexiglas inserts shown in many of the patterns is optional.
**Confused? If it all seems too confusing, simply send an email or call for preliminary costs and timetables. Mention your preferred Fence Style and height, with approximate dimensions. Include your Zip Code for shipping costs. You'll receive a quote and approximate timetable for delivery. The next step is to secure accurate dimensions. Your earlier quote may vary slightly as a result. Finally, an advance payment of 50% by card or check.  This simply secures your place in the schedule and your payment is not processed until work begins.  Within one week, drawings are posted and you are notified by email with a link to your new site asking you to review these drawings before work begins.

Regarding Panel Installation

--CPW does not offer installations.  Homeowners are responsible for securing the installation of their CPW products.  So be careful, and don't end up like the poor sap on the right.
--We can, on occasion, help to secure a referral in your area and we will be glad to do this whenever possible.  The contacts you are provided with will come as a result of repeated high marks from previous CPW patrons.  But these are only referrals and CPW is not responsible for their work.

-It is always best to refer your installer or contractor to the web site to familiarize themselves with the level of quality of CPW products, as well as to thePDF Installation Guides, located through the below link or under the Site Map on every page.

Regarding Shipping

1) A typical wood gate within the Continental United States ships FedEx freight. 2) If you order an item, we will provide a quote, where necessary, for standard shipping. The independent courier may have an additional charge for redelivery and making appointments. We will not be responsible for any of these charges. 3) When items are shipped motor freight, the items become the property of the purchaser when they leave our dock. Motor freight companies may have strict policies regarding damaged freight. If you sign for a damaged package without noting the damage at the time of the delivery, they will often not allow the claim. If you detect some damage to the crate, please make a note of this on the Bill of Lading the driver will ask you to sign.  You do not need to refuse delivery or ask the driver to wait.  Your signed note will be sufficient in the event of a claim.4) Please make sure you understand the shipping options and how your order will ship before placing an order.

Relax. We use durable, ribbed crates. As of summer 2003, only one shipment has arrived with damage. This, in June 2003, involved a small break on a single rail of a single panel and CPW replaced it without question. The fault was ours.
