A gate can blend quietly into the garden, or stand out distinctively.

Overlooking the back lawn, with the
San Francisco Bay and, in the distance, the Golden Gate Bridge!

Two additional gates and panels off the back patio.

Are you under the impression we set the parameters and codes to an automated CNC machine, go have lunch, and return to find your gate ready to ship?  Or that we assembled the assorted parts milled and ripped and cut by a factory of semi-skilled workers?
How about an American master craftsman, one pair of hands start-to-finish.
"Hands On:"
This phrase like an idiom, watered-down and battered like the driven snow under the galoshes of a Wal-Mart culture. At CPW it means one pair of hands belonging to one carefully chosen American craftsman, an Artisan, intrinsically focused on this gate below as with the entire CPW product line, from the first cut to the last final sanding.  A single craftsman among many linked with CPW who unwittingly whistle as they work.  Who perhaps pause to dance now and again through the sawdust.  Who return to their families each evening invigorated, brimming from the satisfaction of a life by choice.

Gate-2-1

The landscape lighting, in a photograph sent by the homeowners, seems to illustrate an appropriate pride.

Gate 2-2

There is nothing like a natural established hedge to
create the warmth of an inviting entry into this Hawaii property.  A short corner of panels balancing the right shoulder of the driveway.

An arty portal into the modest backyard, landscaped with an inimitable Hawaii invitation.  Judging from the board and baton siding, the property would date to the late 40's.

An interesting, slightly modern variation on the G-2 gate can be seen at G-65, in Gallery 1B
